一、定義1、記敘文是以寫人敘事為主，具體而形象地反映社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)生活的文體。2、說明文是以說明為主要表達(dá)方式來介紹事物、闡明事理的實(shí)用文體。目的是幫助人們完整地了解、認(rèn)識事物的形狀、性質(zhì)、成因、功能、構(gòu)造、關(guān)系或發(fā)生、發(fā)展過程，從而把握事物的特征、本質(zhì)及規(guī)律性。二、特點(diǎn)1、記敘文的基本特點(diǎn)是敘述性和具象性。（1）敘述性：用敘述的方法介紹和說明事情發(fā)展變化的過程或事物狀態(tài)的一種特性；（2）具象性：用生動(dòng)而形象的語言把事物、人物描述出來，給讀者以具體清晰的印象。2、說明文的特點(diǎn)歸結(jié)起來有這樣幾個(gè)方面：（1）內(nèi)容的知識性；（2）材料的科學(xué)性；（3）語言的通俗性；（4）表達(dá)方式的解說性；（5）結(jié)構(gòu)的條理性；（6）功能的實(shí)用性。
