89年與Tangerine Dream樂團(tuán)的電子音樂界先鋒Klaus Schulze琢磨音樂理念，并與多位導(dǎo)演將專輯中的歌曲拍成短片集錦取代傳統(tǒng)影帶概念，其中標(biāo)題為「Songlines」的短片還一舉勇奪奧斯卡獎，Marian和Bernhard也分別發(fā)表個人專輯。
他們于1984年在歐洲大陸上發(fā)行的第一個單曲Big In Japan，還特意請來Tangerinep Dream的Klausp Schulze作為發(fā)行人，但是Gold在后來未能擴(kuò)大影響、發(fā)展起來,被當(dāng)時挪威的A-ha,英國的Pet shop boys給比下去了，但不管還有多少人記得Alphaville，forever young依然被傳遍著...
