1～20英語(yǔ)序數(shù)詞為first，second，third，fourth，fifth，sixth，seventh，eighth，ninth，tenth，eleventh，twelfth，thirteenth，fourteenth，fifteenth，sixteenth，seventeenth，eighteenth，nineteenth，twentieth。
序數(shù)詞在漢語(yǔ)中表示為“第幾”。此外，在生日中，描述出生的日期時(shí)，也會(huì)用到序數(shù)詞。比如：May-first（5月1日）；在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中，常常需要區(qū)分基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞。
句法功能
序數(shù)詞在句中可作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、定語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)、同位語(yǔ)與狀語(yǔ)。

2、She chose the second.

（1）1到30：first，second，third，fourth，fifth，sixth，seventh，eighth，ninth，tenth。
（2）11到20：eleventh，twelfth，thirteenth，fourteenth，fifteenth，sixteenth，seventeenth，eighteenth，nineteenth，twentieth。
（3）其中1st，2nd，3rd為特殊形式，其它的都是阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字后加th（以1，2，3結(jié)尾是st，nd，rd。 e.g.：twenty-first，21st）。
序數(shù)詞前不用the的情況：
1、當(dāng)序數(shù)詞前有形容詞性物主代詞或名詞所有格修飾時(shí)，序數(shù)詞前不用 the。例句：
（1）Mother was my first teacher in my life.媽媽是我生命中的第一個(gè)老師。
（2）Tom is Lily's third boyfriend. 湯姆是莉莉的第三個(gè)男朋友。
2、當(dāng)表達(dá)分?jǐn)?shù)時(shí)，序數(shù)詞前不用 the。例句：
（1）One fifth of the students here are from the country. 這兒1/5的學(xué)生來(lái)自農(nóng)村。
（2）Three fourths of the students here are from the country. 這兒的3/4的學(xué)生來(lái)自農(nóng)村。
3、當(dāng)表達(dá)“又一，再一”時(shí)，序數(shù)詞前不用 the，但可加不定冠詞。例句：

4、當(dāng)表達(dá)“年月日”時(shí)，序數(shù)詞前不用the。例句：

5、當(dāng)序數(shù)詞在句中作狀語(yǔ)時(shí)，序數(shù)詞前不用 the。例句：
