My favorite festival
Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries. My favorite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. We usually enjoy the moon on the night of that day. And we also eat fruits, peanuts and mooncakes. I like it because all my family members can sit together to have dinner and talk with each other. On the night ,the moon is so beautiful that it makes me think of Change. It can make me feel the warmth of family.
Changes in my hometown
My hometown has changed a lot in the last few years. In the past, there used to be old small houses in my hometown. The river in front of the village was very dirty, and smelt terrible. The children had to go to school on foot or by bike. But now there are many new tall buildings instead of the small houses. It looks clean everywhere in my hometown. The river is clear enough for children to swim in. Most children go to school by bus, and some parents take their children to school in a car.
My hometown is getting better than it used to be.

Gragon Boat Festival is coming.Now it is has become a holiday.What can do on this holiday?Most of us will have dinner with our friends and grandparents.We will enjoy the rice dumplings with our parents.
There are all kinds of the ricedumplings.I like them all. Why do we have rice dumpings on this day? We remember the famous poet Qu Yuan.On that day, there are so many activities such as Dragon Boat races, throwing the rice dumplings into the water.Why must we have this traditional festival？

Spring Festival
My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.
People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. Its my favourite holiday.
