Skid是滑道、打滑的意思，在包裝中是“滑木包裝”的意思，通常指滑木箱。根據(jù)中華人民共和國國家標準GB/T4122，木容器型式 術語的解釋，滑木箱是指①采用滑木結構的底盤②側(cè)面和端面采用箱板和箱檔制成的③木制的箱子?；鞠溆苫窘Y構的底座、側(cè)面、端面及頂蓋構成?；鞠涞臉藴视⑽恼f法為：Skid wooden box?；鞠浞譃槟景宸忾]箱(A型)、木板花格箱(B型)和膠合板封閉箱(C型)。北京飛捷騰達 滑木箱（膠合板封閉箱）滑木箱和普通木箱有什么區(qū)別？滑木箱因為有一個用于承重的底座（即木箱下面連著一個類似托盤的木結構），所以滑木箱比普通木箱能承受更大的載荷，因此更加堅固，適合用于包裝較為笨重的中型機械設備等產(chǎn)品。而普通木箱主要以端面和側(cè)面為基礎來承載，強度和載荷較滑木箱小。為什么叫做滑木箱？滑木包裝怎么來的？有一個挺有意思的解釋是這樣的：托盤（包括帶托盤底座的滑木箱）是使靜態(tài)貨物轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)閯討B(tài)貨物的媒介物，一種載貨平臺，而且是活動的平臺，或者說是可移動的地面。即使放在地面上失去靈活性的貨物，一經(jīng)裝上托盤便立即獲得了活動性，成為靈活的流動貨物，因為裝在托盤上的貨物，在任何時候都處于可以轉(zhuǎn)入運動的準備狀態(tài)中（使用叉車、地牛等裝卸搬運設備可以輕易搬運這些裝在托盤上的貨物）。也許這就是SKID滑木包裝的由來，僅供參考。SKID包裝是不是SKD包裝呀？SKID包裝不是SKD包裝。SKD是Semi-Knocked Down的簡稱，意為半拆開的、半分解的。與SKD相關的是CKD，即Completely-Knocked Down的簡稱，意為完全拆開的、完全分解的。SKD和CKD包裝在運輸包裝中極為常見。比如：很多家具都是SKD或CKD包裝，都是運到了家里或者辦公室等最終用戶的地點才拆開包裝，將產(chǎn)品組裝起來。比如：在國際汽車、摩托車貿(mào)易中，出口商往往把成品拆散，以半成品或零部件的方式出口，再由進口商在進口國自行裝配，組成整車成品，再進行銷售。
