Whether you're submitting a resume cold or responding to a job posting, always include a cover letter. Yes, they're tedious to write, but a solid cover letter can make the difference between getting the job and getting nowhere. 不管你是遞簡歷還是回應(yīng)一份招聘啟事,記得要加上一封求職信。是,這很沉悶,但是一封嚴肅的信會決定你得到工作還是一無所獲。 Address the Recruiter:Start your letter with the date. Skip two lines and write the recruiter's full name, preceded by Mr. or Ms. Then, list the recruiter's title and the company name and address. If you don't know the recruiter's name, simply list the company name and address. 寫給招聘員工:信件的開始寫上日期??諆尚袑懮险衅竼T工的全名,名字之前加上Mr.或者Ms。然后列出招聘員工的頭銜、公司名字和地址。如果你不知道招聘員工的名字,簡單的寫上公司名字和地址吧。 Say Hello:Two lines below the header, greet the recruiter with "Dear Mr." or "Ms.", followed by his/her last name and a colon. Emphasize your qualifications for the job by highlighting applicable skills. If you're responding to an ad, you have an edge: You already know the job requirements. 許多求職者都有向用人單位發(fā)送求職信去應(yīng)聘工作的經(jīng)歷,求職信是你取得成功的關(guān)鍵。如今不少求職信都是要求是用英文來撰寫的,特別是應(yīng)聘一些外企職位的時候。那么如何才能用地道流利的英語來寫好一份求職信呢?今天,就在這里教你幾招。和簡歷一樣,求職信越簡單明了越好,因為用人單位決不會在一份簡歷上花過多的時間。因此,如何通過"掃描關(guān)"就顯得猶為重要了。秘笈1寫好開頭首先應(yīng)該表明你是在何家媒體看到應(yīng)聘廣告以及所要應(yīng)聘職位的名稱,如:(1)Inanswertoyouradvertisementin(媒體名稱,括號里只要按照實際情況填寫,下同)for(職位名稱),Iwishtotendermyservices.(2)Withreferencetoyouradvertisementin(媒體名稱)for(職位名稱),Irespectfullyoffermyselfforthepost.秘笈2自我介紹通常在這段里介紹你的工作經(jīng)驗,特別需要注意的是,和所應(yīng)聘工作無關(guān)的經(jīng)歷就不要贅述了,如:(1)Ihavebeenservingforover(數(shù)字)yearsin(以前供職單位).(2)Ihavehad(數(shù)字)years'experiencewith(以前供職單位)asa(以前職務(wù)).秘笈3說明原因這里包含兩個方面的原因,一是離開現(xiàn)職的原因,二是申請新職位的原因,如:(1)MyreasonforleavingmypresentemployeristhatIwishtogetintothe(申請職位的性質(zhì),如:advertising)business.(2)Ilefttheofficeonaccountofthediscontinu鄄anceofthebusiness.秘笈4證明能力這部分非重重要,因為這體現(xiàn)你究竟能為公司做些什么,直接關(guān)系到求職的成功率,但是也要注意一定要用最少的文字表達最多的意思。還是那句話,和所應(yīng)聘職位無關(guān)的能力(包括證書、資格等),也應(yīng)該堅決予以剔除,如:(1)IhavereceivedaspecialEnglisheducation(你的專業(yè)),andhaveafaircommandofJapanese(你的副業(yè)).Inaddition,IknowalittleFrench.(2)Duringmyeducation,Ihavegraspedtheprincipalsofmymajorandskillsofpractice.NotonlyhaveIpassedTEM-8(你所通過的水平測試或其它職業(yè)技能考核),butmoreimportantIcancommunicatewithothersfreelyinEnglish(你個人的能力,尤其是強項).MyabilitytowriteandspeakEnglishisoutofquestion.秘笈5關(guān)于薪水這是個比較敏感的問題,如果一定要在信中提及的話,也是可以應(yīng)付的,如:(1)Iamwillingtoserveontrial(試用)forsomemonthsatalowsalary.(2)Ishouldrequireasalaryof2,000RMBamonthtobeginwith.秘笈6當(dāng)心結(jié)尾成功的求職信決不是虎頭蛇尾的,往往會在此提及關(guān)于希望得到面試的事情。因此,結(jié)尾一樣要引起重視,如:(1)Ishouldbegladtohaveapersonalinterviewandcanfurnishreferencesifdesired.(2)Ishouldappreciatetheprivilegeofaninter鄄views.Imaybereachedbyletterattheaddressgivenbelow(如這樣使用的話,就要在后面附上你的聯(lián)系地址),orbytelephoneat88888888(你的電話號碼).秘笈7注意附件這個部分視具體情況而定,如果有詳細的簡歷,或者是用人單位需要的材料,附在求職信中時,需要注明,如:(1)Enclosedpleasefindaresume,aphotoandanautobiography.(2)Acopyofmytranscriptisenclosed.另外還有一些內(nèi)容雖然不屬于求職信的一部分,但是也不能忽視,如求職信的用紙,一般采用A4幅面的紙張,正文用打印機打印出來,信末必須親筆簽名。打印字體不宜過大,這樣會增加篇幅,也不宜太小,給別人增添麻煩。字體不要采用花體,用黑體、宋體、仿宋就可以了,顯得正式而尊重。如沒有特殊情況,盡量少用彩色??傊啙嵈蠓骄涂梢粤?,不要弄得過于花哨。最后,將求職信裝入信封,就可以寄遞了。有關(guān)寫求職信的其它技巧,在你求職的過程中,一定也有心得,所以總而言之,祝你好運了!
