英語時(shí)間的讀法規(guī)則
一、順讀法
順讀法,也叫直接讀法,先讀"鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)",再讀"分鐘數(shù)",見數(shù)讀數(shù),直接讀出。
例如:
7:20讀作 seven twenty ;
8:45讀作eight forty-five;
11:30讀作 eleven thirty 。
如果時(shí)間是整點(diǎn),就用"鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)+ dclock "來表示, o'clock 可省略。
例如:
8:00可讀作eight o'clock或 eight ;
10:00可讀作ten o'clock或 ten 。
二、倒讀法
此方法是"先讀分鐘數(shù)",再讀"鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)"。使用此方
法要注意兩點(diǎn):
1、如果分鐘數(shù)在30以內(nèi),就用"分鐘數(shù)+past+鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)"表示,介詞past的意思是"過"。
例如:
6:10讀作ten past six;
9:25讀作twenty-five past nine。
當(dāng)分鐘數(shù)正好是"三十分鐘"時(shí),可用"順讀法"中的"鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)+thirty",也可用"half+past+鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)"。
例如:
7:30可讀作seven thirty 或 half past seven。
2、如果分鐘數(shù)超過30,則用"(60-分鐘數(shù))+to+(鐘點(diǎn)數(shù)+1)"來表示,介詞to為"差"的意思。
例如:
6:35讀作twenty-five to seven(差二十五分鐘到七點(diǎn));
10:50讀作ten to eleven(差十分鐘到十一點(diǎn))。
在"倒讀法"中,當(dāng)分鐘數(shù)涉及到"15分鐘"時(shí),一般不用fifteen,而用a quarter(一刻鐘)來表示。
例如:10:15讀作 a quarter past ten(一般不讀fifteen past ten); 9:45 讀作a quarter to ten(-般不讀 fifteen to ten )。
