G:That day,for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run.So I ran to the end of the road,and then I got there. I thought i'd run to the end of town. president Carter,sufferring from heat exhaustion ...When I got there, I thought I'd just run acoss Greenbow County.Now thinking since I'd run this far,maybe I'd just run acoss the great state of Alabama.And that's what I did.I ran clear acoss Alabama. 那一天沒什么特別原因，我決定小跑一下。跑到路的盡頭，到達(dá)之時(shí)，心想還是跑到鎮(zhèn)的邊緣。我到那里時(shí)，又想不如橫越了格林堡縣。又想既然跑這么遠(yuǎn)，干脆跑步橫越阿拉巴馬州。我真的做了，橫越阿拉巴馬。G：No partucular reason, I just kept on going.I ran clear to the ocean.And when I got there,I figured since I'd gone this far，might as well turn around,just keep on going.And when I got another ocean,I figured since I'd gone this far. I might as well just turn back and keep right on going. I said.,''Here's a guy that got his act together.'' ''Here's somenody who has the answer,'' I'll follow you anywhere,Mr Gunp. 我的腦子突然想通了，我想這個(gè)人有人生目標(biāo)，他胸有成竹，他有人的答案，甘先生，我要追隨你跑天下。 G:So I got company. And after that,I got more compsny.And thenm even more people joined me. Somebody later told me it gave people hope. I don't know anything about that.But some of those people asked me if I could help them out. 于是，我有了伴。越跑伴越多，后來(lái)，有更多的人加入。后來(lái)有人跟我說(shuō)那帶給人類希望。這個(gè)我一點(diǎn)也不知道。有些人問我能否幫助他們。你既然能啟發(fā)那么多人，也許你能幫我想...... 路人2：Can you help me?I'm in the bumper sticker business.I need a good slogan,and since you've been so inspirational,I thought you might be able......Whoa,man!You just ran thought a big pile of dog shit! 老兄，你能不能幫助我嗎？我是貼紙商，在思索好的口號(hào)。你剛才踩到了狗屎。 G:It happpens. 這是常有的事。 路人2：What,shit? 什么？狗屎？ G:Sometimes.Some year later,I heard that fella did come up with a bumper sticker slogan and make a lot of money off of it. Another time,I was running along,somebody who'd lost all his money in theT-shirt business,he wanted to put my face on a T-shirt,but he couldn't draw that well,and he didn't have a camera. 幾年后，聽說(shuō)那個(gè)人想出了口號(hào) ，而且賺了大錢。又有一次跑步時(shí)間，遇見做T血生意虧本的人，他想把我的像印上去，可是他畫的不好又沒有相機(jī)。 shirt商：Here, use this one.Nobody likes that color anyway. 用這個(gè)，反正是沒人喜歡的顏色。G：Have a nice day! Some year later,I found out that man did have an idea for an T-shirt.He make a lot of money off of it.Anyway, like I was saying,I had a lot of company.Mama always said,''Put the past behind you before you can move on.'' And I think that's what my running was all about. I hade run for three years, tow months,14 days and 16 hours。 祝你愉快!幾年后，我發(fā)覺那個(gè)人想出點(diǎn)子，靠T血賺了很多錢?？傊缥宜f(shuō)，我有許多同伴。媽媽常說(shuō)往前走得先忘掉過(guò)去，我想那就是跑步的用意。我跑了三年二個(gè)月十四天由16個(gè)小時(shí)。 路人3：Quiet! He is going ti say something. 安靜！他要說(shuō)話了。 G:I'm pretty tired. I think I'll go home now. 我好累，我想我要回家了！路人4：Now what are we supposed to do? 現(xiàn)在我們?cè)趺崔k？ G：Just like that,my running's days was over.
