Light musicIn this media age,listening to music is usually considered as an important way to express inner feelings,especially for young people who are in a stage of change.Since any change can bring potential pressures,light music is very popular for its moderate tempo and soothing sound.As a kind of mood music,it is also widely used in film,radio,and even television programme.Unlike popular genre or classical melody,light music always gives me a feeling of peace in regard with its orchestral arrangements and musical textures.In addition,there are no vocals in such kind of music pieces,and therefore less distraction from lyrics.Every time I have a hard time falling asleep or just want to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at weekends,I would have a ‘date’ with Robert Farnon or Haydn Wood,who are famous composers in this field and they are also my favourites.A piece of light music is also greatly appropriate for reading and writing.Just like the cream for the cake,light music is my source of inspiration since I like to write blog and diary regularly.I believe the magic power of music works to everyone in different ways.If you have never felt it,and happen to feel frustrated for some reason,then you should try a piece of light music deep in the night and I am convinced that it would bless your soul.By Darjeelinger
